Tobacco Cessation Clinic
As per DCI’s letter no.DE-230-2018/3316 DATED 03.06.2018, we wish to denote that our dental college established the Tobacco cessation centre since 2010 and it is functioning till date. In this centre, we are training the house surgeons and PGs, giving the counseling to the 4-5 tobacco users daily .We are also conducting camps, tobacco awareness programme and rallies since 2010 on occasion of WORLD NO

The Dept of Public Health Dentistry, M.R. Ambedkar Dental College conducted oral cancer screening at KSRTC Bus Depot, Majestic, Bangalore in association with Narain Sewa Sansthan on World No Tobacco Day 2018.

The Department of public health dentistry ,M.R Ambedkar dental college conducted tobacco awareness screening camp, Patient education and oral health awareness at BMTC bus garage, Kengeri, Bangalore on the occasion of world no tobacco day in the presence of the BMTC bus garage staffs and workers. The campaign tried to raise awareness on the risk posed by tobacco smoking and second-hand smoke exposure and how tobacco endangers the lung health of people worldwide.
