Dr. Shobha R is a Reader in the Department of Periodontics at M.R. Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore, where she has been serving since 2011. She earned her B.D.S. from R.V. Dental College, Bangalore, under RGUHS, and completed her M.D.S. at Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore, securing first rank in her Postgraduate examination.

With 14 years of academic teaching experience, Dr. Shobha has contributed significantly to dental education and research. She has 12 research publications in national and international journals and is  expertised in Muco-Gingival surgery and esthetic dentistry. Additionally, she has received specialized training in Laser dentistry and actively organizes Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programs.
