Dr Jayanthi.D. has graduated from Government Dental College & Research Institute, Bangalore and Post graduation MDS Periodontology from M R Ambedkar Dental College & Hospital. In addition, she has done Certificate Courses in Implantology and Aesthetic Dentistry from Reputed Institutes. She has been a recognized as Post Graduate guide by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore Since 2006. She has Guided and Trained many Post- Graduate students and certification course students. She has been an eminent Teacher and her immense interest in research activities is noteworthy .She has many Original Research Articles to her Credit, which are published in indexed National and International Journals. She is a member of the review board in Journal Of International Clinical Dental Research Organization. She has delivered guest lectures and chaired scientific sessions in various State/International conferences, CMEs and Seminars. Her special interest is in conducting New Researches and Research related to Diabetes & Smoking in Periodontics. She is a prolific reader and keen to adopt an Innovative, Simple and Understandable method to teach the students and encourages to publish various original research articles .
