Dr.Geetha has 10 years of professional experience. She completed her post-graduate studies at M.R. Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore, where she earned the prestigious distinction of securing the 6th rank at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Dr. Geetha has further honed her expertise through a range of certifications, including a Foundation Course in Educational Methodology (RAATI LMS), a Government Certificate Course in NABH Accreditation, and a Virtual Foundation Certificate in Forensic Psychology and Document & Fingerprint Examination. Additionally, she completed the Women Entrepreneurship Training Programme at IIMB, Bangalore.
Her professional interests are diverse and encompass School Health Programs, Outreach Initiatives, and Healthcare for Specially Abled Children, Rural Development, and Research Methodology. Dr. Geetha’s academic contributions have been recognized at the national level, where she won third place in a paper presentation at the National Symposium on Forensic Odontology & Disaster Victim Identification and was honoured with the Best Paper Award at the IDA Conference.
In addition to her research, Dr. Geetha has shared her knowledge through various guest lectures, including topics on Biostatistics and Biomedical Waste Management during the Postgraduate Orientation Program at ABIMUKHYAM, MRADC. She has also provided oral health education for specially-abled children and their families at the Spastic Society of Karnataka, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing public health.
