Dr. Fouzia Tarannum has completed B.D.S in 2000 and MDS in 2006 from M.R.Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore under RGUHS.  She was awarded PhD from RGUHS in March 2019. She was recognized as a Post-graduate guide by RGUHS in 2013 and has been guiding Post Graduate students since then. She is an eminent teacher with 18 years of experience and has immense interest in academics and research. She has published 13 research articles in pub med journals. She is member of review board of Journal of Periodontology and Indian Journal of Dental Research and Assistant Editor of RGUHS journal of dental sciences. She is reviewer of a text book “Essentials of Clinical Periodontology” authored by Dr. Shantipriya Reddy, a very popular book among Indian students. She has given guest lectures and conducted clinical training workshops at national and international forums.
