Dr. Archana Markande is a highly esteemed senior lecturer in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, with a formidable career spanning around 11 years. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from M. S. Ramaiah Dental College and went on to pursue her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from M.R. Ambedkar Dental College. She illustrates a profound commitment to both continuous learning and the art of teaching with an unwavering dedication to staying at the limelight of emerging research and innovations. Her passion for teaching goes beyond the classroom to foster an environment where curiosity, critical thinking, and professional growth of students is encouraged. Her high professionalism and dedication at work makes a meaningful impact at the workplace and on students alike. Her areas of interest include PMDs of oral mucosa, Oral Cancer, CBCT, advanced molecular and imaging technologies and forensic odontology. Her achievements include receiving the Best Reviewer Award from the Journal of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology for two consecutive years 2023 and 2024, Best paper award at the 34th National Conference of IAOMR 2024. she has also completed a foundation certificate course in forensic odontology and CBCT certificate course from people`s University Gujrat.
