The Department of Pediatric Dentistry is a special branch of dentistry that provides both primary and comprehensive oral health care for infants and children from birth to 14 years including those with special health care needs.
It was established in the year of 1997 and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
We provide complete treatment of primary and permanent teeth in the department as well as the management of harmful oral habits, full mouth rehabilitation, procedures under general anesthesia and chair side conscious sedation for the dental care of children and also to children with special health care needs.
Our motto is – HAPPY SMILE, HEALTHY CHILD.
Undergraduate teaching programme:
Pedodontics and Preventive dentistry (III and IV BDS). A mentorship system is followed at the undergraduate level.
